Two 15-year-olds in love who lived every moment, including their last, online

Composer Philip Venables and director Ted Huffman − the duo behind the award-winning 4. 48Psychosis – examine the real-life tragedy of Russian runaways Denis Muravyov and Katya Vlasova. Elinor Cook’s (Killing Eve, Series 3) Microwave is a new play which boldly explores the anxiety and awkward hilarity of academic and sexual pressures on teenage women as they try to carve out their own identity. The play is about the friendship between 15 year old Kelly, straight A student, girlfriend of the hottest boy in the school, captain of the lacrosse team and excelling in awide-range of extra-curricular activities, and Carly - who is homeless and earning money through prostitution. Their intense and immediate friendship, sparked on a park bench outside Kelly’s school, spurns both girls to try out different identities whilst grappling with who they are and what they want from their lives and relationships. Microwave poses a thought-provoking and compellingexploration of ‘how the other half live’ through the lens of teenage female friendship, whilst opening a wider discussion around how we educate and support teenage women in the 21st century.

Through the lens of an Indian student on a gap year to the exotic island of Great Britain; Pariah Khan’s sell-out debut show An Indian Abroad explores race, culture and identity in contemporary Britain.

Stifled by life in middle-class India, Krishnan is desperate to see more of the world, so he visits the exotic island of Great Britain to learn about life and who he is. What does Krishnan's journey teach him about the world? What might he learn about himself? And what happens when he falls in love with one of the natives?

"A generous and hilarious writer and performer with a keen eye for detail and impeccable comic timing. He has a big future ahead of him"

Who was Fagin?

Was he the Fagin in Dickens' Oliver Twist?

Was he the Fagin in Oliver! the musical?

Was he based on a real-life character?

Join Fagin as he reviews his situation during his final night in prison before being hanged. As madness envelops him he is ‘visited’ by some old acquaintances.

Find out who he really was and how he ended up as one of the best known, yet unknown, of Dickens' characters.

“This powerful new play gives a fresh twist on Dicken’s criminal Fagin.”

Think you know Fagin? Think again.

Fagin? -written and directed by Simon Downing.

“All three actors in the roles of Fagin (Keith Hill), Bill (Giles Shenton) and Nancy (Georgia Butt) deliver impeccable performances. In the centre of it all, the audience is captivated by Fagin’s diverse, manipulative and complex character.”

The Reviews Hub

“It is apowerful piece of work….it deserves to become an eventual classic.

The set is simple, the themes (of love, greed, deception, betrayal, regret and retribution) universal, the subtle interplay between the three characters intense and the background (Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist) so familiar that this small masterpiece could well be a theatrical staple.” You would be a fool to yourself to miss it.”

So many fabulous hits to be covered but they’re all here, from the early piano and harmony heavy wonders of Killer Queen and Don’t Stop Me Now, to the later, catchy pop anthems of the eighties.

The stunning, Breakthru provides both the introduction and the costume presentation for this part of the set which includes a new feature of the Bohemians stage show, a slick rendering of classics from the late eighties and early nineties era. I Want it allThe Show must go on and the haunting, Days of our Lives are just some of those featured.

Next up it’s the sights and sounds of the famous Live Aid performance and of course, the awesome Bohemian Rhapsody. Then it’s back to Wembley ‘86 for a suitably rousing finale when The Bohemians will have you on your feet, singing, dancing and clapping along to the likes of We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions. The appropriate climax to a truly memorable live re-enactment of the world’s greatest Rock Band.

Watch Dance Class is a free to attend event which aims to build audiences and boost engagement with previously unengaged groups as well as helping to demystify the idea of dance to audiences that may find it abit of an unknown.

Every day before a performance, our dancers warm up onstage, this is standard to all venues and important for the dancers health and wellbeing. At Watch Dance Class, we simply open the doors to the stage during this time. At first it was of interest to dance students interested in seeing what it’s like to be professional day to day; but we noticed a huge interest from photographers and life drawers; and now target at these groups.

Featuring two unrehearsed performers who have never met, Celebration, Florida is a quietly surreal show for anyone who has ever missed anyone or anything.

Veering between reality and simulation, Celebration, Florida orbits around ideas of surrogacy; a stand-in to replace a person you miss, a re-creation of an experience you can’t stop thinking about, nostalgia for a place that never existed.

Greg will speak to you through two performers using pre-recorded audio and headphones. They will know almost nothing about the show when they walk on stage.

“A moving tone poem on loss and retrieval”

★★★★ Stewart Pringle, The Stage

“A work of great sensitivity written with enviable grace and poise”

Simon Bowes, After the Lights Fade

Commissioned by The Albany and developed at The Yard. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

Greg Wohead is a writer, performer and live artist originally from Texas. He makes theatre per-formances, one-to-one pieces and audio works. His work has been seen at theatres and festi-vals in the UK, US and Europe.

CHORES - A Comedy Circus Show For The Whole Family

Friday 29 May at 3pm

Tickets - £8, family of four - £30

Chores is the story of two typical young rascal boys playing in their messy bedroom.

Suddenly, their mother's alarming screams rattle the boys back in to acrobatic action. A generous serve of comedy and chaotic acrobatics accompanies every attempt at cleaning their room and doing their chores. This mess of chaos and comedy concludes with a last-minute cleaning spree.

The parents are kept at bay and the rewards come flooding in!

Inspired by slapstick legends Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, the side-splitting duo of Chores is coming your way. Two excitable brothers, are definitely, probably, maybe, just about to, almost, at some stage, going to do the chores their mother has asked them to do…

With highlights of skilled stunts and uproarious, interactive gags, and with very little spoken dialogue, the audience will find themselves on the edge of their seats and giggling until the chores are done.

Chores is brought to you by Julian Roberts and Morgan Wilson, the performers from Hoopla Clique.
