"Leave comedy to the bears, Ebenezer"
The Muppets perform the classic Dickens Christmas tale, with Kermit the Frog playing Bob Cratchit, the put-upon clerk of stingy Ebenezer Scrooge (Michael Caine). Other Muppets -- Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear and Sam the Eagle -- weave in and out of the story, while Scrooge receives visits from spirits of three Christmases -- past, present and future. They show him the error of his self-serving ways, but the miserable old man seems to be past any hope of redemption and happiness.
We’ll be showing films from the last century (and one or two from this century too) to give you the opportunity to enjoy your favourites as they should be – on the big screen.
We think that watching a film in the dark with an audience can really change how you view it – even when you know what’s coming next. So whether it’s your first or your thousandth time watching this classic – we think you will have the best time.
